Usually if we want to add to numbers say 52 and 66 we would add the unit digits. and if there is any remainder we will bring it to the tens digit and atlast we will add the tens digit..

Now we will do it in the different way…

Let us take the same number 52 and 66..

The first step is to add the first number and the unit digit of the second number

ie. 52 + 6 = 58

The second step is to jump tens digit time..

our tens digit is 6..

so the answer is 118

let us take another set of examples

26 and 77

if we do addition in the normal way we have to take care of the remainder. But in the fast way

just add 26 + 7 and jump 7 times…it will yield 103.

It seems to be difficult first…but if you practice you will realize that it is the most easiest way.

52+66 = 118 and not 108, also the way you are explaining is difficult to digest. What do you mean by Jump 7 times?

    understood the technique guys
    its simple , 52+6=58
now the other unit digit of other no. that is 6 is added to ten’s digit of first no.
    that is
    58
    6
    =118 simple

  5. bodhikalpa das says:

The calculation is:52+6=58, then ten times of tens digit i.e, 6 multiplied by 10=60. Now,58+60=118.very simple

  6. Vilas Thakur says:

    In the above problem when we add 52 + 66 = 118 & not 108 .
