Reverse i search in linux

A new shortcut key that i leant and is being very useful is ctrl+r . Its reverse i search .

This key is used to find your last used commands quickly .

Before knowing this shortcut key, i was using history and grep to find last used command.

For ex . If u ve used this command
Find -name”*.c”|xargs grep “abc”

Instead of searching in history , use ctrl + r and type abc and hit enter. The above command Will get executed.
